Zoning Amendment Update 

On October 21, 2026 The Township Board of Supervisors enacted an advertised ordinance which amends and supplements the township zoning ordinance to classify data centers as a 

conditional use in the existing I-1A and S-2

zoning districts; to establish comprehensive conditional use, application sitting, development, operational, environmental, public safety, community development, reporting, decommissioning, and enforcement requirements

for data centers. It is posted at right in the gold box as a clickable e-copy PDF.

This end result is a municipal curative amendment to correct zoning invalidities and regulation with regard to data centers.​​​

Plans from Blue Creek Investments were submitted on October 9, 2026. The township completed  

administrative completeness reviews and affirmed
